CLAREMONT, Calif. – After 45 years in the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps athletic department, Jodie Burton has announced her retirement as the head women’s golf coach, effective on July 1. Keilee Bessho, who has spent the last two seasons as an assistant for Burton, helping the Athenas to a third-place finish at the 2023 NCAA Championships and a 2024 SCIAC title, will take over as the program's interim head coach for the 2024-25 season.
