Seven Athena Runners Earn All-Academic Distinction from USTFCCCA

CLAREMONT, Calif. - All seven eligible runners from the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's cross country team earned All-Academic honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced this week.

CMS Stands in 19th Place in LEARFIELD Directors' Cup Standings after Fall Season

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Claremont-Mudd-Scripps earned a spot in the top 20 (19th) in the NCAA Division III LEARFIELD Director's Cup standings in the fall season, the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics announced today.

NEWVILLE, Pa. - Natalie Bitetti tied the highest finish ever for a Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's cross country runner by ending in second place, and the Athenas earned the NCAA fourth-placed trophy in a very tight team battle at the NCAA Division III Championships on Saturday in Newville, Pennsylvania.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Natalie Bitetti earned the NCAA West Region championship for a second straight season, leading a 1-2-3 finish with Elle Marsyla and Riley Capuano as the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's cross country dominated for the team title on Saturday morning at Riverside City Cross Country Course.

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Natalie Bitetti earned the SCIAC Athlete of the Year Award for the second year in a row, Revere Schmidt captured the Newcomer of the Year, Laura Zimmer earned the Celia Peterson Leadership Award, and Marina Muncan, Nick Spector and Justin Helfer were named the Coaching Staff of the Year, the conference office announced today.

BREA, Calif. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's cross country team opened up the 2023 season by coming in second place, behind only Division I California Baptist, at the Mark Covert Classic hosted by CSU Fullerton, at Carbon Canyon Park.
