On Court: 4-star recruit on TR.net who has ranked as high as No.84 in his class....three year starter for Torrey Pines HS boys tennis team, helping TPHS win 3 CIF, 2 State, and 1 National title in his three years ...won League and CIF San Diego Section singles title as a senior, and was named 2019 San Diego Section Player of the Year...as a first-year made his Stags Tennis debut at the ITA West Regionals by defeating Caltech's Kevin Yu in straight sets...lost in second round to teammate and eventual finalist Jack Katzman...played in five different dual matches in the spring, earning a 3-1 record in singles and 2-0 record in doubles...bounced back from a tough three-set loss in his debut singles dual at No. 5 against Pacific (OR) on the Stags' trip to Hawaii in January, then won his next three matches at No. 3 and No. 4 against Ottawa University Arizona, Cal Lutheran, and Whittier...played at the No. 3 doubles position with Williams and Carroll against Hope International and Whittier respectively...completed shortened 2020 season with overall records of 4-2 in singles and 2-2 in doubles....earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for his better than 3.5 GPA during the 2019-2020 academic year.
