CLAREMONT, Calif. - Alec Vercruysse, a rising senior on the CMS men's swimming and diving team and an engineering major at Harvey Mudd, was one of 68 students nationwide selected by the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation (ASF) as Astronaut Scholars for the 2022–2023 academic year.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's swimming and diving program set 11 new program records, as well as NCAA Division III record in the 200-yard butterfly from Frank Applebaum, as it came in eighth place at the NCAA Championships from Wednesday-Saturday at the IU Natatorium on the campus of IUPUI.

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Frank Applebaum knocked over a half-second off the NCAA Division III in the 200-yard butterfly, while winning the race by over two seconds, as he captured a national title in 1:44.01 on the third day of the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday at the IU Natatorium.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas - One day after finishing fourth in the three-meter dive, Cyrus Gaylord earned a fourth-place finish in the one-meter at the NCAA Region 2 Diving Qualifier to earn one of the region's four bids to the NCAA Division III Championships.
