CLAREMONT, Calif. - Junior Katrina Ostrom gave the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer team a 1-0 second half lead against No. 3 Washington University in the NCAA Round of 16 on Saturday afternoon, but the Bears were able to find the equalizer and won it on a header off a corner kick in overtime to advance to the quarterfinals.

THOUSAND, OAKS, Calif. - Sophomore Lauryn Jeans made the clinching penalty kick as the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer team defeated Cal Lutheran 4-2 on penalty kicks after playing to a 0-0 tie through 110 minutes, advancing to the Round of 16 next weekend at Washington University in Saint Louis.

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. - Sophomore midfielder Nicole Oberlag followed up a penalty kick attempt and scored when the initial shot was saved to break a 1-1 tie and give the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's soccer team a 2-1 win over Emory in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday night at William Rolland Stadium.

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior forward Kira Favakeh has been a team leader for the CMS women’s soccer program, serving as a captain for the 9-3-3 Athenas as she prepares to celebrate Senior Day with her class tomorrow night at Pritzlaff Field (7 p.m. vs. Caltech). The Athenas aren’t the only team Favakeh is a major part of, as the senior engineering major has also led a Harvey Mudd College team designing medical technology at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California.
