On Court: 4-Star recruit on TR.net,  ranking as high as number one in New England...played number one singles for Swampscott High School since 7th grade, captain of high school team both Junior and Senior years...Massachusetts High School State Individual Finalist, two time league MVP, first team All-Star all four years of high school...won New England Sectional Doubles title in 16s, also represented New England in Zonal, Intersectional, and Davis Cup competition from 12s-18s...as a freshman made CMS Stags Tennis debut at ITA West Regionals in October where he lost in the first round of singles to Chapman's Charlie Werman...a lingering tennis elbow prevented him from playing the consolation, but partnered fellow first-year teammate Jay Yeam to reach the quarters of the doubles, knocking off third seeds and NCAA qualifiers Bello and Simonides of Pomona Pitzer before falling to Redlands' Cummins and Lipscomb...played in seven singles dual matches in the spring, going 5-2 at No. 2, 4, 5, and 6...appeared in only one doubles dual with partner Jay Yeam, winning at No. 2 against Hope International...completed first year with overall records of 5-3 in singles and 3-1 in doubles...was one of two freshmen to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for achieving a 3.5 or higher GPA...as a sophomore won two of three singles matches at the ITA West Regionals, knocking off 9th seeded Ranson Braaten of Cal Lu in three sets in the first round...partnered Avi Vemuri in the doubles, going 2-2 in four matches...began spring play as one of the Stags' most improved from a season before...earned wins at No. 2 singles against Arizona Christian on February 10, and then at No. 1 singles against Colorado College on February 16...won in straight sets at No. 5 singles in the Stags' opening round victory against Trinity (TX) at ITA National Indoors in St. Peter, MN...also had important victories as a starter against Swarthmore, Wesleyan, George Fox, and Caltech...completed 2018 with overall records of 14-5 in singles and 5-2 in doubles...was one of five Stags to earn ITA Scholar-Athlete and SCIAC All-Academic honors for attaining a 3.5 GPA or higher for the school year...as a junior spent fall semester abroad in Sydney, Australia...returned in the spring to see action at every singles position except for No. 1...played in ten dual matches (all singles), earning a 9-1 record with only the loss of three sets...provided the clinching three-set win at MIT on March 19 at No. 6 singles to complete a 5-4 comeback win for the Stags in their first of four spring break matches in New England...earned his third straight ITA Scholar-Athlete and SCIAC All-Academic honors for his excellence in the classroom.
