ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Jenna Holmes had 18 kills, but the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps volleyball team came up two wins short of its quest for the second national title in program history, falling 3-1 to Calvin in the NCAA Division III Semifinals on Friday evening at Washington University in Saint Louis.

LOUIS, Mo. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps volleyball team stands 31-1 on the year heading into its NCAA Semifinal match this evening, and will face the opponent responsible for the only loss when it plays a rematch with Calvin, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Pacific time (7:30 p.m. local time) at Washington University in Saint Louis.

CLAREMONT, Calif. - After guiding the CMS volleyball team to a best-ever 30-1 record, its first-ever undefeated season in SCIAC play, and an NCAA Regional championship, Kurt Vlasich earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association Division III National Coach of the Year Award, the organization announced today.
