McGovern helped CMS reach the NCAA Division III Semifinals this season, the second time she has been part of the final four with the Athenas (along with 2022). She was an AVCA first-team All-America selection, and earned the AVCA Region X Player of the Year, as well as capturing first-team All-American honors.
