Prior to CMS
Attended La Canada High School, where she was a member of the cross country and track and field teams ... Finished in ninth place at the Rio Hondo League championships as a senior ... Also earned a top-20 (17th) in the CIF Southern Section Division prelims ... Helped her team to a second-place finish at the state championships (just nine points out of first) ... During track and field season, finished sixth in the CIF Southern Section prelims in the 3200 meters ... Won the 3200 meters in a regular season quad meet with four schools ... Was second in the Rio Hondo League championships with a PR of 11:44.19.
