Bio

Amanda is thrilled to be a freshman at Scripps (and to join the CMS cross country team). One of the reasons she chose to go to Scripps is the variety of scrumptious fruit trees on campus. She plans to major in environmental analysis, and wants to learn more about water resources and agriculture in California. Future goals include being fluent in Spanish, growing her own garden, learning how to whistle, and hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. She also enjoys painting, drawing, print-making, and ceramics.  At home in snowy Massachusetts, Amanda loves to Nordic ski and snowshoe.  Her favorite runs are trail runs and rainy-day runs, in which she will go out of her way to jump in every puddle.
