Bio
Matilda Msall is a junior at Scripps College majoring in politics. This summer she worked as a research assistant at the University of Chicago Medical Center and practiced waking up early to go on runs.
In track, Matilda runs the steeplechase and the 5k. While she enjoys track, she is also excited for a season full of soft-surfaces and hills, two parts of running that are still a bit foreign to this Illinois native. This season, Matilda is looking forward to continuing to improve and helping her team.
Fun fact: Matilda's slowest 3 mile race in high school was over seven minutes slower than her fastest 5k race in college!
Matilda's interests outside of running include cooking, reading, paloozin and waiting in the longest lines in the dining hall. This year, Matilda hopes to direct a team production of Hamilton but will try not to sing in the van on the way to early cross country meets.
