CLAREMONT, Calif. - The No. 1-ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps volleyball team will serve as one of eight hosts for the opening rounds of the NCAA Division III Championship when it welcomes in seven teams for regionals on Thursday-Saturday.

Trinity (Texas), UC Santa Cruz, Chicago, UT Dallas, Texas Lutheran, Puget Sound and Fontbonne will also compete at the CMS regional and are seeded No. 2-8 respectively (matchups were adjusted to avoid having conference teams face each other in the first round). CMS and Fontbonne will play the final match on Thursday at 8 p.m., with the winner competing against either UC Santa Cruz or UT Dallas in the semifinals on Friday at 7 p.m.. The Trinity-Puget Sound winner will face the Chicago-Texas Lutheran winner in the other semifinal, with the two winners advancing to Saturday's championship at 5 p.m.
