Purpose, Unity, Resilience: 2022 Athenas Soccer (Video Feature)

CLAREMONT, Calif. - The CMS women's soccer team is on a mission in 2022 to get back to the postseason as it finds its stride under first-year head coach David Nolan, standing 2-1-2 in the league after a 2-0 home win over Whittier on Wednesday night.

We were with the Athenas for the first steps of their journey as @j.d.c.media captured some of the action, including behind-the-scenes footage, from the first week of SCIAC play, a tough 2-1 home loss to Redlands and a bounce-back 1-0 win at La Verne.

The next step in the journey will be this Saturday at Pritzlaff Field against Caltech (11 a.m.), as CMS will try to improve to 3-1-2 in league play with another home win. Click the play button below to watch the video.
