CMS Women's Golf Shoots +15 to Win Dual with Calvin

UPLAND, Calif. - Stella Cheng shot -1, keyed by an eagle chip on the fourth hole, as the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's golf team earned a win over Calvin in a dual match at Upland Hills Country Club on Friday.

CMS won by a convincing margin of 47 strokes, shooting +15 as a team, while Calvin came in at +42. 

In addition to Cheng's -1, Irene Jun shot a +2 to come in second with a 73. Esther Lee had a 77 and Jeissy Lee had a 79 to close out the four scoring golfers for CMS. 

Ella Chiu, Reina Tain and Lucy Bloomstran were the sixth, seventh and eighth individual finishers, while Lauren Fue came in 10th. 

CMS will be back in action for two tournament over spring break, first competing at the George Fox Invitational in Arizona on March 11-12, and then traveling to Georgia for the Jekyll Island Invitational on March 17-19.
