CLAREMONT, Calif. - The CMS Women's Golf team played 72 holes over four days, totaling 1,261 strokes at the NCAA Division III Championships at Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida, and it still wasn't enough to decide the champion as Williams also had 1,261 strokes On the second playoff hole, Margaret Loncki's 15-foot putt proved to be the difference as the Athenas captured the title.

CLAREMONT, Calif. - The newest sport at CMS didn’t take long to start adding to the athletic department’s trophy case. In the inaugural season of SCIAC women’s golf, the Athenas won the five-team league handily, taking all four of the regular season tournaments and then adding a close win at the SCIAC Championships, edging Redlands in a tight battle by just three strokes (over three rounds).
