Attends Scripps College, where she has a major in mathematics and a minor in Chinese ... Serves in the senate for Scripps Associated Students, as well as the SAS Programming Committee, the CCBDC (Claremont Colleges Ballroom Dance Company), and the Boxing Club ... Lists her Chinese classes as her favorite ones she has taken in college so far ("We do fun activities, such as acting, to work on speaking the language. Outside of class, there is more opportunity to practice speaking Chinese at the Oldenborg dining hall." ... Participated in the Mathematical and Theoretical Biology Institute (MTBI) REU at Arizona State during the summer of 2019 ("For the first four weeks, we learned about population dynamics and epidemiological models. In the last four weeks, we worked in research teams. My team used the influence of terrain and lost person behavior to create a mathematical model to better find lost hikers in the woods. We then presented our research to the other professors and students. It was a really interesting project, and a wonderful opportunity for undergraduate research!"
