CMS Athenas Golfer Accomplishes Rare Feat

On Monday October 17th, at the CMS Co-Ed Golf Invitational Tournament the CMS Athenas celebrated a special accomplishment by one of their teammates. On hole two of round one sophomore Elizabeth Diebel scored an "ace" (hole-in-one). Diebel joins a unique club of golfers who have achieved the feat. She scored a first round 84 and second round 83 for a total of 167 which would have her finish the invitational in a tie for 14th place among individual women competitors. The CMS Athletic Department and family applaud and celebrate Elizabeth's special moment on the course.
