Competed in five races for the Stags in his rookie season ... Came in fifth place in the Open Division of the Mark Covert Classic in his debut with a 26:36.1 ... Earned 38th out of over 140 runners at the SCIAC Championships with a 26:23.1 ... Had a PR for an 8K with a 25:59.6 at the Cougar Challenge hosted by CSU San Marcos ... Earned 27th at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational. 

Prior to CMS
Attended Roseburg High School in Oregon, where he was a member of the cross country and track and field teams ... Earned a third-place finish at the 6A-7 Southwestern Conference Championships as a senior in 2019 with a time of 15:56.6 ... Qualified for the state championships, where he finished 42nd of 155 ... Had three first-place finishes during the regular season, including the Prefontaine Memorial Run, the Umpqua Invite and the Warner Pacific XC Classic ... In his final track and field season as a junior in 2019, finished fifth in the 3000 meters and sixth in the 1500 meters at the 6A-7 Southwestern Conference Championships with PRs of 8:49.70 and 4:08.37, respectively ... Won the 1500 and the 3000 three times each in regular season meets.
