Ran in five events for the CMS cross country team ... Earned a strong 26th place finish in the SCIAC Championships, crossing in 25:56.4 ... Also had a seventh-place finish in the Open Division of the Mark Covert Classic in his first career race, finishing in 26:52.1 ... Ran a PR of 25:34.4 at the UC Riverside Invitational to place 14th. 

Prior to CMS
Attended Franklin High School in Portland, Oregon, where he was a member of the cross country and track and field teams ... Finished sixth out of 40 runners in the PIL district cross country championships as a senior to help Franklin to the team title ... Qualified for the Oregon 6A State Championships in the 3000 meters as a senior during track and field season ... Also finished seventh in the districts in the 1500 meters with a PR of 4:06.44.
