Bio

Dan McCabe is a senior engineering major at HMC from Orange, Connecticut. He prides himself on being raised in the state that is home to the best pizza in the country, the most underwhelming beaches in the country, and, most importantly, Jesse Joseph (the dankest meme east of the Cincinnati Zoo). He's been far away from both his east and west coast homes for the past several months after spending the spring semester studying at Dublin City University in Dublin, Ireland, and the summer interning at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland, WA.

After ten months away from collegiate running, Dan is excited to reunite with his beloved teammates and take one last shot at having the strong XC season that has historically eluded him. This season, he aims to set a course PR every race, lead the team in Strava followers, and find a way to fill the void left in his life by the graduation of Jackman Lee Wilson, Jr. He holds personal bests of 9:27.21 for 3000m, 16:11.48 for 5000m, 27:45 for the cross country 8K, and 49 seconds for the Saltine Challenge.
