12 Stags Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

CLAREMONT, Calif. - A total of 12 members of the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's track and field team earned All-Academic honors from the the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.

USTFCCCA All-Academic honors are given to student-athletes who carry at least a 3.3 cumulative GPA and who participated in the NCAA Championships or ranked in the top 50 individuals or top 35 relay teams in the country. 

Earning the honors for the Stags included Miles Christensen, Jamie Cockburn, Kai Dettman, John Horan, Sarath Kakani, Truman Knowles, Henry Pick, Daniel Sealand, Stevie Steinberg, Nick Teresi, Adam Wilkinson, and Quincey Williams

CMS also earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team distinction, easily passing the 3.1 minimum standard with a 3.54 team GPA. 

The Stags won the SCIAC Championship by over 100 points, taking its second straight title after a two-year hiatus.
