At CMS
Entering his sophomore season as a member of the CMS track and field team, where he competes in the throws (hammer and javelin). 

2019-20 (First-Year)
SCIAC All-Academic Team ... Competed in three meets before the suspension of spring sports ... Was seventh in the weight throw in his first meet, the CMS Outdoor Indoor Distance Challenge (34'11.75") ... Came in second place in the javelin at the Pomona-Pitzer All-Comers Meet with a throw of 181'3", while adding an eighth place finish (137'11") in the hammer ... Was fourth in the hammer at a five-team SCIAC Multi-Dual hosted by Whittier. 

Prior to CMS
Graduated from a self-study program at Grace Brethren High School ... Played baseball for Grace Brethren, earning the team leadership award and helping the squad to the CIF Southern Section Division IV Championships at UC Irvine ... Received the McKenna Achievement Award from CMC upon admission to the college ... While in high school, researched collective cell migration for two years at UCSB, founded a TEDx event, competed in VEX Robotics world championships, and spoke at national leadership conferences.

Attends Claremont McKenna ... Younger brother of Maxwell Knowles (CMC '20), who was the SCIAC Champion in the javelin in 2019 as a junior ... Chose CMS because he "wanted to have another year to spend with his brother, Maxwell."
