Enters sophomore season ranked No. 9 in CMS history in the 10000 meters (31:19.83). 

2018-19 (First-Year): SCIAC All-Academic Team … Competed in the 10000 at the SCIAC Championships, earning a fifth-place finish to contribute to the CMS team championship with four points ... Had a PR in the 5000 at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational with a 15:18.29, finishing eighth ... Ran the 1500 at the Redlands Invitational and earned a PR with a 4:16.73.

High School
Attended Long Beach Poly in California, where he was a member of the cross country and track teams ... Ran a 4:27 mile as a senior ... Earned All-Conference honors ... Helped his team to four straight league championships and a sixth-place finish in states in 2017 ... Earned highest honors in the classroom, as well as the Pursuit of Excellence Award in Chinese 5-6. 

Personal
Attends Harvey Mudd ... Lists Stephen King as his favorite author ... Also a member of the CMS cross country team in the fall ... Was one of the top seven on the cross country team as a freshman in 2018, earning him the chance to compete at the NCAA West Regionals in Walla Walla, Washington, and at the NCAA Division III Championships in Wisconsin.
