Henry Limm Becomes Fourth Stag to Win SCIAC Men's Swimmer of the Week

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Senior Henry Limm, who captured two individual wins in his final conference home meet, was named the SCIAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for events through Sunday, Jan. 19, the league office announced today.

Limm helped CMS to a dominant dual win over Redlands by a final score of 202-29 at Axelrood Pool on Saturday, after being honored before the meet along with his senior class. He held off teammate Ben Smith in a close race in the 400 IM, touching the wall in 4:11.59 to win by just over a half-second. He added a second win in the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing in 2:09.07.

Limm joins first-years Anderson Breazeale and Joe Zales, and junior Marco Conati as winners of the SCIAC Swimmer of the Week award this season. Breazeale earned it after winning two events against Caltech, Zales took it after winning twice in a tri-meet with Cal Lutheran and Chapman, and Conati captured it after winning three  individual events and three relays in a two-day meet with Pomona-Pitzer. Senior Kendall Hollimon has also twice been named the SCIAC Diver of the Week, giving the CMS program a total of six winners this winter.

CMS will be back in action on Feb. 1 for its final SCIAC meet of the regular season, traveling to Occidental for a tri-meet with Whittier, before hosting the CMS Invitational on Feb. 8.
