Stags Golf Finishes Second At SCIAC 18 #1

The men's golf team began SCIAC play with a second place finish at SCIAC 18 #1 held at Red Hill Country Club, shooting a 19-over par score of 307.  Redlands took first with a 12-over par score of 300, while the Stags narrowly beat out La Verne and Cal Lutheran who finished third and fourth with scores of 308 and 309 respectively.

Tain Lee (SR, San Juan Capistrano), Bradley Shigezawa (SO, Honolulu, HI), and Ben Ho (FR, Vancouver, B.C.) all shot scores of 4 over par 76 and finished tied for 9th. Matt Biggar (FR, Los Altos) rounded out the scoring four with a 7 over par 79 to finish tied for 19th, while Steven Limandibhratha (SO, Bandung, Indonesia) and Jordan Stein (SO, Glencoe, IL) shot scores of 81 and 84 to finish tied for 27th and 39th respectively.

The Stags will continue SCIAC play and look to earn its first victory of the spring season at SCIAC 18 #2 held at Sterling Hills Golf Club in Camarillo, CA on February 23.
