Levi Seig is entering his 13th year as a coach for the Stags in 2019-20 and was recently promoted to associate head coach.  During his tenure as a coach, the Stags have won seven conference championships in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014, 2017 and 2018.

Seig inititally came to Claremont from Monmouth, Oregon, attending Claremont McKenna and playing basketball for the Stags from 1996-2000. He graduated from in 2000 with a degree in economics.

After leaving CMC, Seig worked for Pacific Finance Group from July 2000 through November 2002, before going to Claremont Graduate University and earning a master's degree in education and his teaching credential to teach in the California school system. He has a master’s degree in coaching and athletic administration from Concordia University in Irvine.

Over the last 11 years, Sieg has taught economics at Claremont High School in addition to coaching with the Stags.  He served as an assistant basketball coach for the 2003-2004 school year at CHS, and in 2004 became the head basketball coach.  From 2004-2007 he led the Wolfpack to the CIF Southern Section Playoffs each year, before joining the CMS staff in 2007-08.

Seig lives in Claremont with his wife Natalie and three sons, Mason, Clayton and Nash.
