Support CMS Basketball

CMS men's basketball players

As one of the initial nine men’s varsity programs started at Claremont Men’s College during the 1958-59 school year, the Stags have an excellent, long-standing history of success. The Stags have won 20 SCIAC championships, seven SCIAC Tournament titles, and have made NCAA Tournament appearances five times since 2012, including a run to the Round of 16 in 2024 which was a program-best finish.

As the program continues to strive to be a national power, your support is more important than ever. Your gifts to the Stags support team travel to play top national competition, provide funding for assistant coaches, and allow us to expand our recruiting outreach just to name a few things. Thank you for your support of Stag Basketball.

Other Ways Friends Groups Support CMS Teams

In addition to financial support, alumni, families and friends of CMS Athletics provide other impactful opportunities for alumni, parents, and friends to engage with CMS scholar-leader-athletes. Career mentorship of a current Stag or Athena, hosting an event when we are on the road, and providing the coaching staff information on top recruits are just a few of the ways you can enhance the program.

Coach Scalmanini

“To consistently be a top-10 nationally recognized program like we strive to be, there are three areas in the program we would like to enhance so we can reach the next level: team travel, recruiting outreach, and yearly non-conference games against top national competition. Your support helps us improve in those areas and plays a key role in our overall success.”

-Ken Scalmanini, Head Coach
