EL CAJON, Calif. – The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men's basketball won their season opener over San Diego Christian 72-60 on Friday night. The Stags were led by Tyler Gaffaney who returned from being forced to sit last season out due to injury. Gaffney scored 19 points while Remy Pinson was close behind with 17 points and four assists. The Stags out-rebounded the Hawks 45-21 and shot 50% from the field.
The Stags next play at Master's College in Santa Clarita on November 19th at 7 pm.
