With the split, CMS moved to 19-14 on the season and 9-9 in SCIAC play. Cal Lutheran moved to 22-12 on the year and 11-7 in the SCIAC.

The Stags went outhit the Kingsmen 20-to-5 in the opener, as CMS was able to score the first seven runs of the game unanswered to take control. Aidan Booth also homered on the day, finishing 2-for-4 with 4 RBI and one run scored, and Paul Roche was 3-of-4 with one run scored for CMS. Evan Kelly, Carson Bridges and Marco Castillo each added two hits apiece for the Stags. CMS starting pitcher Diego Avila went seven innings to get the win, tallying six strikeouts while allowing only six hits and one run, which was unearned.

Booth homered to left field in the bottom of second inning, bringing home Potter and Roche to grab a 3-0 lead. The Stags then scored on an error after Tyler Shaw singled to left field to help CMS take a 4-0 advantage in the second.

Booth then singled to right field to give the Stags a 5-0 lead in the third with his fourth RBI. CMS continued to pour it on, as Potter homered to left field in the fifth and added a three-run shot in the sixth to extend the Stags lead to 10-1. Kelly then walked it off in the bottom of the eighth to enforce the 10-run rule while sending Potter to home plate to secure the 11-1 victory over the Kingsmen.

In the nightcap, CMS fell in a 2-0 hole in the first inning before coming back to tie the game at 3-3 after a two-out RBI single by Roche in the bottom of third. The Stags went ahead 4-3 in the fourth off a Castillo single to right field, and then Bridges doubled to right field in the sixth to bring Kelly home and then Shaw singled to center field, allowing Bridges to score and lifting CMS to a 6-3 advantage.

However, Cal Lutheran was able to score five runs in the ninth to take a 8-6 lead. Castillo led off the bottom of the ninth inning with a single to bring the tying run to the plate, but CMS was unable to answer back as the Kingsmen ended the game with a double play.
