Following her job with the USTA, Bhat served as the people experience coordinator at BTS USA, a management consulting company in Phoenix, Arizona, since March of 2021. Her role with BTS included managing the interview process, onboarding employees, and handling benefits and payroll administration.
In her two years at the University of Oklahoma, Bhat worked closely with the women's tennis program, and co-directed the Norman Open, while being active in several areas of the athletic department's operations. She served on the Athletics Diversity Council and the Student-Athlete Development Committee, had an internship with the alumni association, and worked in both the licensing office and the ticket office during her two-year tenure.
Bhat attended the University of New Mexico, where she was a member of the women's tennis team and helped the Lobos to their first-ever Mountain West title, while earning the program's Most Valuable Player honor as a senior. She also was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and served as the athletics representative on the Associated Students of New Mexico governing board.
As an undergraduate, Bhat served as a human resources generalist intern, creating and maintaining employee records and reviewing travel documentation to ensure NCAA and Cleary Act compliance. She was a Dean's List student in the Anderson School of Management and earned Scholar-Athlete awards from the Mountain West and the Intercollegiate Tennis Association, and was a member of the UNM All-Academic Team.
