Bio

Kathy Settles played her collegiate tennis at UC Irvine from 1985-1989.  She began working in the Player Services Department of the ATP Tour in 1991, where her role as a Player Services Manager took her to men’s professional events around the world for more than 12 years.  

Settles moved to Claremont with her husband Paul when he took the helm of the CMS Men’s Tennis program in 2004.  She has contributed to the CMS women’s tennis program off and on as an assistant coach since then, and continues to compete in age group tournaments at the national level in both singles and doubles, but spends most of her time competing in national family events. She and Paul have won ten Husband-Wife National Championships in the last four years, and a total of fourteen USTA Gold Balls together. Kathy and her son Christian have won four USTA gold balls in National Mother-Son Championships and Kathy and her son Caleb have won one bronze ball.  Kathy is mother to four children, Ryley, Christian, James and Caleb.
