Ward on CoSIDA Academic All-District team

GREENWOOD, Ind. – SCIAC Women's Tennis Athlete of the Year Caroline Ward (CMC) from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps has been selected to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District™ 8 Women's At-Large Teams for her success on the court and in the classroom.

She is one of four tennis players on the District 8 (West Region) team and the only women's tennis player from the SCIAC. A total of 11 student-athletes were selected to the District 8 At-Large team representing three different sports (tennis, golf and swimming).

The senior from Edina, Minn. is an economics and accounting major and she posted a 3.80 GPA. Ward is ranked No. 4 regionally in singles and No. 2 regionally in doubles. In addition to the Athenas participating in the NCAA Division III Championships quarterfinals on May 23 against Bowdoin in Kalamazoo, Mich., Ward has been selected to participate in the NCAA singles and doubles competition (May 26-28).
