Head Coach Charlie Griffiths Authors Article for Streamline Teams

CLAREMONT, Calif. - Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Head Swimming and Diving Coach Charlie Griffiths authored an article for the website Streamline Teams (streamlineteams.org), which was published this week.

Griffiths' article was titled "College Swimming 101" and highlights the annual CMS 101 letter that provides life advice for the coming season.

When last in action, Griffiths led both the women's and men's swimming and diving teams to SCIAC titles in 2020, with 18 CMS athletes qualifying for the NCAA Championships, earning All-America honors after the event was canceled at the onset of the pandemic. In his 19 years at the helm, he has guided the Athenas to 15 SCIAC Championships, and the Stags to 11. His all-time dual meet record for both programs is 319-88, including 264-14 in the SCIAC.
