Bio

Mollie Williams enters her first season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball team in 2024-25. 

Williams joins the Athenas after spending the last three as the head coach at Artesia High School in Lakewood, California. Previously, she served as an assistant coach at Centennial High School and has been an instructor at Scholarship Prep Charter School over the last five years, starting the school's first basketball team. 

In addition to her high school experience, Williams has also served as a head coach for West Coast Elite Under Armour Girls Basketball since 2018. In that role, she has been the director of the Los Angeles Girls Team and served as an Elite 100 Prospect Camp Clinician. 

Williams played collegiate basketball at the University of Washington, before going on to a five-year professional career. She began at the Luxol Basketball Club in Malta, and also played at Kerava Energia (Finland), Indias Mayaguez (Puerto Rico), Tampere Pyrinto (Finland) and Strasbourg Illkirch-Graffenstaden (France). 

Williams graduated from Washington in 2012 with a degree in sociology. She went on to earn her master's in sport manamgement from the University of San Francisco in 2023.
