Andre McLean is entering his first season as an assistant coach with the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball team in 2023-24.

McLean has served as an assistant basketball coach at Damien High School in La Verne for the past three seasons, where he was in charge of player development and the day-to-day workouts. Simultaneously to his high school coaching success, McLean has served as the head coach of ELEV8 Elite Basketball, a 17U national AAU program, where he recruited some of the top local players in high school to compete during the AAU live period.

In addition to his roles with Damien and ELEV8 Elite, McLean also started his own basketball training and player development program called Crossover Academy in Northeast Los Angeles in March of 2018, serving as the head coach and CEO.

McLean is a native of Rancho Cucamonga, California, where he competed for the high school basketball program, before playing at the junior college level at Mt. San Antonio College.
