Mike Scott

Mike Scott was a four-year letterwinner in both cross country and track.  He was the first male in CMS history to earn SCIAC Cross Country Runner of the Year honors, an award he won in both 1987 and 1988.  He earned First Team All-SCIAC and West Region honors in cross country in 1986, 1987 and 1988.  He qualified for the NCAA Cross Country Championships as an individual twice and was a two-time cross country team captain.  In track & field, Scott still holds the school record in both the 10,000 meters (30:50.6) and marathon (2:26:16) and competed at the NCAA Track & Field Championships in 1988.
