Mike Susank

Mike Susank dominated the shot put, discus and hammer in the SCIAC during his tenure as a Stag winning an incredible seven SCIAC titles.  He was voted SCIAC Athlete of the Year in 1993 and 1994 and is one of only three males to win the award twice (the other two are also CMS athletes).  In his three events at the SCIAC Championships he scored 94 points out of possible 110 over his four years.  Upon graduation, Susank held CMS records in the hammer (204-10), discus (162-0) and shot (53-5).  On the national scene, he was a three-time All-American in the hammer throw: 2nd - 1992, 2nd-1993 and 1st - 1994.  He was a member of 1992 team which has the distinction of being the first track team in CMS history to win the SCIAC Championship.
