CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps softball team is making their second trip to the NCAA Tournament in the last three years and eighth overall appearance in program history. The Athenas will head north to McMinnville, Ore. for the Regional hosted by Linfield College where they will face both No. 7 Linfield and No. 12 George Fox University.
The Athenas will open up on Friday against George Fox at 3 p.m. before turning around to take on Linfield at 5:30 p.m. The outcome of both games will determine the schedule for the rest of the weekend.
