Luke is a junior at Claremont McKenna College studying economics.
Luke spent the past summer living, working, running, and networking in the Big Apple. As well, Luke completed every single training session at Central Park this summer. Hailing from rural Edgewood, Washington, Luke thought that attending college on the East Coast would be a good idea. Luke spent his freshman year at Brandeis University in Boston. However, he will be the first to tell you that the West Coast is the best coast.
As a Seattleite, Luke considers the CMC and CMS experience as akin to the Seattle SuperSonics' reign of the NBA over the past 10 years— unbeatable and unremarkable. In addition to being a massive Sonics fan, Luke’s basketball successes stray beyond the couch, as he famously beat Adam Wilkinson, Stevie Steinberg, and Arjun Natarajan in basketball by wearing just flip-flops— which gave birth to the coining of Flip Flop Luke in imitation of Hoodie Melo.
Luke’s interests include sports, distressed debt, shopping, LeBron James, and backing down Adam Wilkinson in the post.
