Had a PR in the 1500 at the Redlands Invitational with a 4:19.44 and in the 5000 at the Occidental Distance Carnival with a 15:53.51 ... Finished fifth in the steeplechase at the second SCIAC Multi-Dual meet with a 10:19.03.

Attended the American School of Doha in Qatar, where he was a member of the track and field and cross country teams … A three-time MESAC track and field champion in the 3000, while leading his team to conference titles all three years … Also helped the American School to two league title in cross country as a junior and senior with individual titles … Named school’s Male Athlete of the Year as a senior … AP Scholar with Distinction and Director’s Award winner … National Honors Society member … Model United Nations and Global Issues Network participant in high school.
