On Court: Speedy counterpuncher...captain and #1 singles player at league champion Palo Alto High School...ranked #12 in singles and #8 in doubles in Boys 18s USTA NorCal section as a junior...as a freshman made debut at ITA West Regionals in singles and in doubles (with Alex Johnson)...was undefeated in dual match play in the spring, going 3-0 in singles and 2-0 in doubles...did not lose more than three games in a set in singles and two games in a doubles pro-set...ended 2010 with a 3-2 singles record and 2-2 doubles record (playing with Johnson and Chien)....reached singles quarterfinals of Boys 18s USTA NorCal Sectionals after freshman year...as a sophomore played ITA West Regionals where he was 1-2 in singles and 0-2 in doubles (with Chien)...went 3-0 in dual matches in the spring, with wins against Haverford, Lewis & Clark, and Occidental at #4, #5, and #6 respectively...dropped no more than four games in any one of those duals...went 1-0 in doubles duals, playing with Mullen at the #2 position against Lewis & Clark...was 4-2 overall in singles and 1-2 in doubles on the season, bringing his career totals to 7-4 in singles and 3-2 in doubles...ITA Scholar Athlete as a Freshman and Sophomore for attaining 3.5 GPA or better.
