On Court: Counter-punching gamestyle using speed and defensive skills...three-year captain of Seabury Hall team that won Maui League and went undefeated each of those years...earned Maui League Player of the Year honors as a sophomore and was Maui League doubles champ as a senior...also ranked #5 in Hawaii in Boys 18s singles, 2nd and 3rd in doubles (with Narasaki and Tobita) respectively...as a freshman was a perfect 5-0 in singles, all in spring dual match play...partnered Berber and Mondino to go 3-0 in doubles...as a sophomore tallied a 5-0 record in singles playing at positions 2-4...went 6-3 in doubles with Mondino, Spencer MacColl, and Berber...as a junior spent the fall abroad in Paris, France, and then returned in the spring to go 2-0 in singles and remain undefeated in dual match play for his career...as a senior was part of Stags team that completed four undefeated seasons in SCIAC play...played in four singles dual matches without losing a set...played at the #2 position against Caltech and Goucher, and at the #6 position against Chapman and Occidental...went 2-1 in doubles, playing two matches at ITA Regionals with Mullen in the fall, and one dual match with Johnson in the spring...completed his Stags Tennis career with a perfect 16-0 singles record and an 11-4 doubles record...2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 ITA Scholar-Athlete award winner for earning above a 3.5 GPA each year at Claremont McKenna.
