On Court: Started competing in SoCal junior tournaments at age 10 and USTA Nationals in 12 and under division...continued sectional, national, and ITF tournament play up through 18 and under division...4 star recruit on TennisRecruiting.net as a junior and senior...played #1 singles for three years at Temple City HS, after attending San Marino HS as a freshman...Temple City Captain junior and senior year...Rio Hondo league doubles champion...CIF quarter-finalist in doubles...CIF singles round of 16...reached top 35 in nation in 14s, top 70 in nation in 16s, including two national doubles titles....as a freshman made Stags Tennis debut at USTA / ITA West Regionals in October, going 4-2 in singles and 2-1 (with Butts) in doubles...appeared in two singles dual matches in the spring, against Brandeis on Feb 22, and then against Hawaii-Hilo in Oahu on Marh 22...played #6 and #5 singles, losing only four games in four sets...appeared in four doubles duals in the spring (all w ith Pereverzin), going 1-3...completes first year with overall record of 6-2 in singles and 3-4 in doubles...as a sophomore won two matches in each the singles and doubles of the USTA / ITA West Regionals in September...had two straight set wins in opening rou nds of singles before losing tough three set match to Santa Cruz's Eli Scandalis...partnered junior Cameron Bernhardt in doubles, earning win over 8th seed s Cummins and Wilson of Redlands in the first round...dropped opening singles dual match of the spring season, then won seven straight at the #1, #3 and #6 positions...was extremely valuable as first Stag off the bench during the last two weeks in March, getting key wins against Hardin-Simmons, Williams, Pacific (OR), Chapman, and Redlands...completed 2014 with records of 10-3 in singles and 7-2 in doubles, playing with Morkovine...as a junior played six singles matches at the USTA / ITA West Regionals, winning four and reaching the consolation finals...paired with Bryan Mehall in doubles for three matches...had spring season cut short by left wrist injury, but still appeared in three singles matches and six doubles matches...went 3-0 in singles dual matches at the #4-5 positions and did not drop a set...partnered Marino, Shankar, Hull and Mehall to go 3-1 in doubles dual matches...finished 2015 with overall records of 7-2 in singles and 5-4 in doubles...as a senior had his best ITA West Regionals of his career, reaching the semis of singles before losing to eventual champion and teammate Butts...partnered Bryan Mehall in doubles and the tandem went 3-2 in five matches...finished with singles rankings of #40 nationally and #10 in the West Region...played five other events to complete an active fall on the courts...played healthy all spring for the first time in collegiate career, propelling him to his best season ever...played mostly at #5 and #6, but also saw singles action at #3 and #4...won his first 10 singles matches between Feb 20 and March 17...had his most exciting win on April 2 vs Hamid Derbani of Middlebury, rallying from a set and two breaks down to win 1-6, 7-6(2), 6-2 to help lift the Stags to a 6-3 win...also reached the semis of the Ojai singles, losing to teammate and eventual champ Skyler Butts...played doubles almost exclusively with Hull at #2 and #3, finishing with an impressive 20-13 overall doubles record to add to his 24-6 overall singles record, and earned 2nd Team All-SCIAC honors...Yeh's career marks are 47-13 in singles, for a winning percentage of .783, and 35-23 in doubles...Yeh also earned ITA Scholar-Athlete and SCIAC All-Academic honors for maintaining a 3.5 GPA or better in his final year.

Personal: Only child of Pearl and Lawrence Yeh...started playing tennis at age nine...competes internationally for U.S. in soft tennis, including world championships in Seoul, Korea in 2011...also enjoys basketball, slalom inline skating, break dancing and drawing
