On Court: One of three freshmen on the 2015-2016 Stags...two and three-star recruit on tennisrecruiting.net for most of junior career...participated on SoCal Zonal Teams in 12s in Tucson, AZ, 14s in Colorado Springs, CO, and 16s in Sal Lake City, UT...as a freshman made Stags Tennis debut at the ITA West Regionals in October where he went 1-2 in singles play and 2-1 with partner Avi Vemuri...knocked off 5th seeds Farmer and Ross of Whittier in the round of 16 before falling to eventual champs Richter and Sirovica in the quarters...also played two Futures and two men's open events in the fall...saw limited action in the spring dual season, winning two of three singles matches at the #6 position...partnered Shankar at Pacific Coast Doubles and Brenner in one dual match...completed 2016 with records of 3-3 in singles and 3-3 in doubles...earned SCIAC All-Academic honors for maintaining a 3.2 GPA and higher...as a sophomore won one of three singles matches and two of four doubles matches (with partner Jake Williams) at ITA West Regionals...made strong spring debut by collecting a pair of key doubles win with partner Williams on opening day versus Bates and Brandeis...won twice more with Williams at No. 3 doubles to finish 4-0 in doubles duals and go 6-2 overal in doubles...started at No. 5 singles against Brandeis and Caltech, winning one of two...finished with overall singles record of 2-3...as a junior...won five of six singles matches at ITA West Regional, with only loss to eventual champion Chase Lipscomb of Redlands in the second round...won four matches to capture second round consolation draw...paired with Jake Williams in doubles and the duo defeated second seeded Cummins-Lipscomb in the opening round...won one more match before falling to teammates and eventual champions Berber-Parodi in the quarters...returned in the spring for his best dual match campaign thus far, going 7-0 in singles and 4-2 in doubles (with Williams and Berber)...played every singles match at either No. 5 or No. 6, dropping only one set in seven matches...played five of six doubles duals with Jake Williams at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions...finished 2018 with overall records of 12-1 in singles and 6-3 in doubles...as a senior played in two fall tournaments: the ITA Collegiate Grass Court Invitational and ITA West Regionals...won one of two matches with partner Jake Williams at the Newport, R.I. grass court tourney...played five singles matches at ITA Regionals, losing in the first round of the Flight A main draw, but then winning his final four matches to take the consolation title, including a straight set win over teammate Julian Gordy in the final...in doubles, partnered freshman Nic Meister and the pair won two of three matches, falling to teammates Gordy and Katzman in the quarters...played in four singles and seven doubles dual matches in the spring, going 4-0 at No. 6 singles and 5-2 with Williams at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles...did not drop a set in his four singles matches against Christopher Newport, RPI, Chapman, and Occidental...his two losses in doubles came in tie-breaks to NAIA's Hope International and Division I UC Riverside...completes his career as a Stag with overall records of 25-8 in singles and 23-12 in doubles, while earning ITA Scholar-Athlete honors for his better than 3.5 GPA in the 3/2 Economics and Engineering program co-sponsored by CMC and HMC.
