On Court: Played in the number one singles position all four years at Aspen High School, serving as captain for junior and senior years...named Colorado Western Slope Player of the Year as a senior, and placed 4th in Colorado State Championship...earned Intermountain Zone Team sportsmanship award for 2010 and USTA Certificate for Tennis, Leadership and Academics in 2012...as a freshman made his Stags Tennis debut at USTA / ITA West Regionals in October, going 2-2 in four singles matches...partnered Oliver Seifert in doubles, going 0-2 in two matches...returned in the spring and played at the #6 position in three dual matches, losing a total of three games...played in one doubles dual at the #3 position with Seifert versus Arizona Christian...was perfect in dual match play, giving him overall records of 5-2 in singles and 1-2 in doubles for the year...as a sophomore one of two Harvey Mudd college players on the 2014 roster...made strong showing at USTA / ITA West Regionals in September, winning two of four matches in singles...lost to eventual semi-finalist Cardenas of Cal Lutheran in first round of main draw, then won two straight set matches in the consolation draw before falling to Cal Lu's Treacy in the quarters...partnered Max Sacks to win three of four doubles matches at Regionals, losing to champions Deguchi and Littlejohn of Santa Cruz in the main draw, before winning the 2nd round consolation draw...appeared in five singles dual matches in the spring, going 3-1 with one unfinished match at SCIACs...was also 3-1 in doubles dual matches, partnering Kotrappa, Macey, and Hull...compiled overall records of 5-3 in singles - playing the #4-6 positions - and 6-2 in doubles, playing the #2 and #3 positions...as a junior had his most active and successful fall, capped off by a quarterfinal run at the ITA West Regionals where he defeated 9th seed Bello of Pomona-Pitzer in straight sets in the second round, before falling to teammate Nik Marino...was paired with teammate Lestter Yeh in doubles, winning one of three matches at Regionals...earned first ever fall regional ranking of #16 in the west...carried momentum into the spring season where he earned a starting position at #3 doubles and saw singles action in seven dual matches...went 7-0 in duals at positions 4-6, while not losing a set or more than four games in a set...reached the second round of The Ojai and pushed teammate Daniel Morkovine to three close sets, coming within two points of victory...partnered Marino, Hull and Shankar in 20 doubles dual matches, seeing most of his action with Marino at #3...figured prominently in key doubles wins aganist Hopkins, Williams, Middlebury, and Gustavus during the regular season...completed the 2015 season with overall records of 11-2 in singles and 16-11 in doubles.
