On Court: First Oregon player ever to win four 6A high school singles titles...ranked as high as #35 on National Recruiting List, and ranked number 1 in every age group in the Pacific Northwest throughout his junior tennis career...also represented Pacific Northwest section in national and intersectional team play in every age group...four and five-star recruit on tennisrecruiting.net...made his Stags debut as a freshman at the ITA West Regionals, reaching the Round of 16 in singles and losing to eventual champion Nick Ballou from Cal Lutheran...teamed up with Mac Cahill in doubles, where the duo went 1-1...earned fall singles ranking of #25 in the West...won first two dual matches of the spring at #6 and #4 en route to a 14-4 dual match record overall...won eight straight matches over a two week period from March 11 through March 26, including the match-clinching victory at #6 against eventual NCAA champions Amherst...started the spring at the #3 doubles slot with senior Russell Brockett, then switched to partner senior captain Ronald Wu at Pacific Coast Doubles...the duo stayed together to go 17-8 for the remainder of the season, including a run to the NCAA doubles final...finished 2011 with records of 16-6 in singles and 22-10 in doubles, and became only the fourth CMS freshman since 2005 to earn ITA All-American honors... as a sophomore went 2-2 in singles at the USTA / ITA West Regionals, with three of his four matches going three sets...partnered fellow Portland teammate Brandon Wei in doubles...the duo earned the #1 seed, losing in the quarters to eventual champs Ballou and Worley from Cal Lutheran...Pereverzin and Wei earned a #6 ranking in the west for fall of 2011...saw limited singles action in the spring, playing in five dual matches at the #3 through #6 positions...went 3-2 in singles duals to contribute to a 5-4 overall singles record...began the spring with Erani at #2 doubles spot, but also saw action with Wei, Chien and Lane...went 4-5 in doubles duals and 7-7 overall...as a junior went 0-2 in singles and 2-1 in doubles (with Kotrappa) at the USTA / ITA West Regionals in October...returned in the spring to compete for a starting role in singles and doubles...debuted on Feb 22 at #5 singles and #1 doubles (with Yeh) against Arizona Christian and losing only one game on the day...returned to singles action on Stags' Hawaii spring break trip, winning at the #6 position against Hawaii-Hilo and BYU-Hawaii on the same day...played in two more singles duals - versus Occidental and Chapman at #4 and #6 - to keep a perfect 5-0 dual match record intact...also represented CMS at Ojai, winnig one match before falling to Whittier's Julian Seneviratne in the second round...played a key role in the Stags' doubles success despite not being a day-to-day starter...partnered and won with five (5) different Stags - Yeh, Kotrappa, Marino, Johnson, and Dorn - to make important contributions in the spring...played at the #1 position with Dorn at NCAAs to win two dramatic tie-breaks in the semis versus Amherst and championship match versus Williams...finishes 2013 with overall records of 6-3 in singles and 9-7 in doubles...this season was appointed as co-captain of 2014 Stags in September along with teammate Joe Dorn...earned a starting singles position in the spring for the first time since his freshman season, and established himself as one of the Stags' toughest in a deep singles lineup...went 20-2 in dual matches playing mostly at #6, but also seeing action at #4 and #5...lost only four sets in dual matches all season and seven total...was only Stags player to have set points in singles at March 25 dual match at UCLA, where he had three against UCLA's Ryoto Tachi before the match was stopped...completed season with a 23-4 singles record, capped off by a dramatic third-set, match clinching tie-break in the NCAA team semi-finals against Middlebury...his 23-4 mark was good for the 9th best single season winning percentage (.852) in Stags Tennis history...in doubles he partnered five different Stags - Marino, Butts, Morkovine, Wood, and Dorn - playing primarily at #2 and #3 with Marino...went 25-7 overall and 24-5 in duals...ends his Stags Tennis career with records of 50-17 in singles (7th best winning percentage in program history at .746) and 65-31 in doubles.
