CMS Hosts USTA / ITA West Regional
Defending Men's Singles Champion Robbie Erani (JR - New York, NY) returns as the #3 Seed in this weekend's USTA / ITA West Regional Championships. The Stags have 12 singles players and 6 doubles teams in the 64 singles draw and 32 team doubles draw.
In addition to Erani, sophomore Alex Johnson (Thousand Oaks, CA) - a quarterfinalist in 2009 - is seeded #11, senior Russell Brockett (Austin, TX) is seeded #10, sophomore Mac Cahill (Southport, CT) is seeded #13, and freshman Zhenya Pereverzin (Clackamas, OR) is seeded #16. Erani and Ronald Wu (SR. - Los Altos, CA), finalists in the doubles in 2009, return as the #3 seeds, while Brockett and Brandon Wei (JR. - Lake Oswego, OR) pair up for the first time and are seeded #6 in the doubles field.
