10 Players Named to All-SCIAC Teams

The men's and women's tennis teams had 10 players selected to the recently named All-SCIAC teams including six on the First Team and four on the Second Team. The SCIAC Champion Stags had four First Team selections: Larry Wang (SO, Orange), William Ellison (SR, Shaker Heights, OH), Mikey Lim (FR, Honolulu, HI) and Eric Chow (SR, Sunnyvale). Wang was also a unanimous selection as SCIAC Player of the Year. The Athenas had two First Team selections: Yassie Entekhabi (JR, Agoura) and Jessica Nagasako (SR, Lahaina, HI). Second Team selections for the Athenas included Stephanie Hammond (JR, Mercer Island, WA) and Lisa Steckmest (JR, Pacific Palisades). Second Team selections for the Stags included Ben Hough (JR, Spokane, WA) and Gui Schils (SO, Shaker Heights, OH).

Nagasako, Ellison and Chow were all named to their fourth All-SCIAC team. Nagasako is the second CMS women to be First Team All-SCIAC four times. Ellison and Chow were First Team All-SCIAC in 2007, 2006 and 2005 and Second Team in 2004. Entekhabi and Wang were both First Team All-SCIAC last year and Schils was also Second Team All-SCIAC in 2006.
