CMS Defeats La Verne 7-0

The #6 ranked CMS Stags defeated the University of La Verne in a rain delayed match on Sunday 7-0. The Stags swept both the doubles and singles to improve their SCIAC record to 2-0 and their overall record to 3-4. Weekend matches against Occidental and Chapman were rained out and will be made re-scheduled in the upcoming weeks. CMS travels to St. Peter, Minnesota for it's next three matches as part of the ITA National Indoors, February 25-27, featuring eight of the top ten ranked teams in Division III. CMS is the #4 seed and opens play against #5 seed and tournament host Gustavus Adolphus College this Friday at 5:00 PM CST.
