Bio

Boyle was a top-five cross country runner all four years, including the 1984 team that placed seventh at the NCAA Championships. In track, the versatile runner raced in events from the 4x100 relay to the 800 meters. The capstone of her career was breaking of the 800-meter record with a stellar 2:14.62. Cross country achievements: NCAA Championships (1984), first-team All-West Region (1985), first-team All SCIAC (1985, 1986) and second-team All SCIAC (1984, 1983). Track Achievements: NCAA All-America (1987), NCAA Championships Qualifier (1984, 1985). School records upon graduation: 400 hurdles, 800m, 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay and distance-medley relay. She lettered in cross country for four years and in track & field for four years.
